Biography

Born in 2003 and cradled by the melodies of Fally Ipupa, Wizkid and Aya Nakamura, Emma'a, whose real name is Emmanuella Issembe, is establishing herself as a key figure on the Gabonese R&B scene. Her smooth voice and poignant lyrics resonate with a generation in search of identity and inspiration.

A few weeks later, she confirmed her talent with "Encré", a single that went viral on social media. Propelled by the wave of new technologies, Emma'a joined the ranks of African artists such as Nektunez, Black Shérif, Pheelz and Lojay, who are using the power of digital platforms to reach an international audience and establish their notoriety.

Her success with younger generations opened the doors of Sony Music Africa to her. In 2022, she released her first EP, "Encré", which features hit tracks like "Grand Bandit" and "Encré", remixed by the famous French DJ Bob Sinclar.
