Of Cameroonian origin, he grew up in Marseilles and was introduced to dance and theatre from an early age. Drawn to music as a teenager, he began singing and writing lyrics when he moved to Paris in 2012.

His musical style, a blend of R&B, soul and urban pop, is characterised by his smooth voice and catchy melodies. Influenced by the likes of Usher, Chris Brown and Michael Jackson, he quickly forged his own unique identity.

His first studio album, ‘Nyxia’, released in 2019, was a hit. Buoyed by the hits ‘Nuit’, ‘Compte pas sur moi’ and ‘Mwaka Mwaka’, he confirmed his status as a must-have artist.

In 2020, he took part in the tenth season of ‘Danse avec les stars’ on TF1, which he won with his partner Fauve Hautot.

Tayc and Dadju's recent album ‘Héritage’ has been a huge hit. This collaboration between two of France's most popular R&B artists caused a sensation as soon as it was released, topping the album sales charts in its first week.

Buoyed by hit singles such as ‘Makila’, ‘I Love You’ and ‘Sold Out’, the album went on to become a huge success. In France, it was certified a diamond disc in just six months, selling over 500,000 copies. This international success was also confirmed in Belgium, Switzerland and Canada.
