Uzi

Biography

UZI grew up in the Ferme du Buisson neighbourhood of Noisiel, in the Seine-et-Marne region of France. Born on 5 October 1999, he developed a passion for rap at the age of 16, seeing it as a way of escaping the harshness of the streets. In 2016, still in his teens, he made a name for himself with the first episode of the "Akrapovitch" series of freestyles, racking up over two million views.

He became close to rappers such as RK, Djadja & Dinaz, Ninho and Naps, and went on to sign a distribution deal with Universal Music, establishing his flow on the French rap scene with tracks such as "À la fête" and "Violet", a collaboration with RK in 2020.
