Gambino La MG, born Warren Mbala, is a French rapper, composer, and producer born on August 21, 1995, in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis. He is one of the rising figures in French rap, known for his unique style and powerful voice.

Gambino La MG started out as part of La MG, which enjoyed modest fame between 2019 and 2020, notably with their track ‘Martial’, leaving a significant mark on the local scene. This period was crucial for his artistic development, preparing him for his solo career.

In 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, he captured the public's attention with a series of nine one-minute freestyles on Instagram. In October, he unveiled ‘Summerhouse’, inspired by the series ‘Top Boy’, with a video shot in the London boroughs.

In January 2021, he released his first solo project, ‘En Attendant Gambinerie’, followed in March 2022 by his mixtape ‘Gambinerie’, including collaborations with artists such as Tiakola and Naza.

His single ‘Reste-là’ with Tiakola went gold. In July 2023, he released ‘Après Gambinerie’, his project featuring collaborations with Franglish, Ghost Killer Track, Beendo Z, and Mig.

‘Pilon’, the collaboration between Gambino La MG and Samy Lrzo, is a real hit! Released in March 2024, the song has racked up millions of views on YouTube, top playlist spots and a heady chorus that's hummed everywhere.
