Jason Derulo, real name Jason Joel Desrouleaux, is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and record producer born on September 21, 1989, in Miami, Florida.

From a young age, Jason Derulo displayed his musical talents. He wrote his first song at the age of 8 and went on to write for artists such as Sean Kingston and Lil Wayne.

In 2009, he achieved international success with his single "Whatcha Say," which topped charts in numerous countries. His debut album "Jason Derulo" (2009) was certified gold.
