Biography

Le Juiice, whose real name is Joyce Okrou, is a French rapper and entrepreneur of Ivorian origin, born in 1993 in Boissy-Saint-Léger in the Val-de-Marne.

Of Cameroonian origin, he grew up in Marseilles and was introduced to dance and theatre from an early age. Drawn to music as a teenager, he began singing and writing lyrics when he moved to Paris in 2012.

In 2018, she released her first EP, ‘Claque’, which propelled her to the forefront of the music scene. Her unique style, blending trap, rap and Afro influences, has won her the admiration of her peers and the public alike.

In 2019, she set up her own label, Trap House, and released her first studio album, ‘Juice’. The album confirms her talent and her position as one of France's leading rap artists.

The AHOO project, featuring rappers Le Juiice, Davinhor Packman, Bianca Costa, Yvick and Chilla, was a huge success in 2021. Their track ‘Ahoo’, taken from the documentary ‘Reines pour l'amour du rap’, received critical acclaim and public acclaim, marking a unique and powerful collaboration in the world of French female rap.

Le Juiice is known for her outspokenness and assertive attitude. Her lyrics tackle themes such as feminism, society, discrimination and injustice.
