Biography

Tiakola, real name William Mundala, is a French rapper and singer born on 4 December 1999 in Bondy (Seine-Saint-Denis).

Of Congolese origin, he grew up in the cité des 4000 in La Courneuve. A music fan from an early age, he began rapping in his teens, influenced by the likes of Booba, Ninho and Damso.

In 2017, he made a name for himself as a member of the group 4Keus, with whom he enjoyed considerable success. The group split up in 2020 and Tiakola embarked on a solo career.

His music is a blend of rap, vocals and African influences. His lyrics, often introspective, deal with themes such as love, life in the neighbourhoods and the search for oneself.

Tiakola is regarded as one of the most promising rappers of his generation. His unique style and melodious voice have won him a huge following.
